AhlulBayt News Agency (ABNA): Ayatollah Akhtari, Chairman of the Supreme Council of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, issued a message to the World’s Influential Figures.

In the Name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful
﴿أُذِنَ لِلَّذينَ يُقاتَلُونَ بِأَنَّهُمْ ظُلِمُوا وَ إنَّ اللهَ عَلي نَصْرِهِمْ لَقَديرٌ ﴾
“Those who are fought against are permitted [to fight] because they have been wronged, and Allah is indeed able to help them” (Holy Quran, Surah Al-Hajj, Verse: 39)
Esteemed and noble scholars, religious leaders, high-ranking figures, and heads of political, social, and cultural organizations across the world;
Dear brothers, members of the AhlulBayt (a.s.) World Assembly, and all honored missionaries;
Nobles, allies, enthusiasts of AhlulBayt (a.s.), and friends of the Islamic Republic of Iran everywhere;
Peace be upon you
With hearts filled with sorrow and grief, we express our most sincere condolences, deepest sympathies, and holy indignation on the occasion of the martyrdom of the heroic leader, the comprehensive jurist, the supreme Marja’, Imam Sayed Ali Hosseini Khamenei, and also the martyrdom of innocent women and children, political figures, and military commanders.
We hereby declare our strongest condemnation of the terrorist and disgraceful acts committed by the brutal Zionist regime and the arrogant, self-willed American government against the Islamic Republic of Iran, Lebanon, and Iraq – acts that clearly violate all religious and moral values, explicit principles of human rights, and international treaties.
O believing brothers! In this great challenge that Islamic Ummah confronts, and in the face of overt pressures and attacks launched by global arrogance against the Islamic Republic of Iran and the brave forces of Islamic resistance, we emphasize the necessity of awareness and insight, the importance of unity and solidarity, and the urgent need to support the selfless mujahideen and the courageous axis of resistance.
Moreover, to ease your hearts, we assure you that the new and exalted leadership, Ayatollah Sayed Mojtaba Hosseini Khamenei, is a model of steadfastness upon Quranic principles, wise leadership, firm adherence to the path of resistance, and rejection of domination and oppression, and his voice will be the voice of the oppressed of the world, and a guiding light for the free in confronting tyranny and injustice.
In light of this reality, Iran continues steadfastly along the path of resistance and confrontation with the great Satan and the occupying Zionist enemy, in stark contrast to the appeasing and mercenary stance of certain Arab governments that have placed all their resources at the service of the aggressor enemy – so much so that their territories are being used as launchpads for attacks against the Muslim people of Iran.
We are confident that the Islamic Republic of Iran, in defending its dignity, land, and honor against the arrogance of the Zionists and the cowardly aggressions of America, is acting in accordance with the principle of “just self-defense”, and will respond to these repeated aggressions, which are initiated from American military bases and territories in some neighboring countries.
Iran’s target is not the people of these neighboring Muslim nations. As the holy Quran says: “وَإِنْ عَاقَبْتُمْ فَعَاقِبُوا بِمِثْلِ مَا عُوقِبْتُمْ بِهِ ۖ وَلَئِنْ صَبَرْتُمْ لَهُوَ خَيْرٌ لِلصَّابِرِينَ” (Should you retaliate, retaliate with the like of what you have been made to suffer, but if you are patient that is surely better for the steadfast) (Surah: an-Nahl, Verse: 126)
Based on this, we invite you, esteemed scholars and leaders of the Ummah, to respond to the call of this noble message from the Holy Prophet (p.b.u.h), who said: “مَن سَمعَ رجلاً ينادي يا للمُسلِمين فَلَم يُجبهُ فَليس بِمُسلِم” (Whoever hears a person crying out: 'O Muslims, come to my aid!' and does not respond, is not a Muslim)
Therefore, in these sensitive and fateful circumstances, we respectfully request that you adopt firm and courageous positions in response to the Zionist-American aggression, which has targeted the very existence of Islam and all Muslims worldwide. Your response to this appeal is not merely a political stance, it is a sacred covenant rooted in faith, born from the conviction of the necessity of Islamic Ummah unity, the defense of the oppressed, and resistance to imperialist and arrogant designs. Your support and solidarity are, in truth, support for Islam, for resistance, and for human dignity – dignity for which the blood of innocent martyrs has been shed.
Thus, we hope that you, who occupy a lofty spiritual and social position within the global Islamic community, will kindly respond to this call and take whatever action you deem appropriate in support of the pivotal issues confronting Islam. This includes standing firmly against the deceptive and treacherous aggression of the U.S. and Zionism directed at Islam and Iran, which aims at the disintegration of Iran and the weakening of the Islamic identity and presence of Muslims.
We pray to the Almighty Allah to safeguard you, strengthen your steps, and make you a source of refuge and guidance for the Islamic Ummah.
